We have significantly changed our exhibit prospectus to encourage more watermedia artists to enter and be eligible for our large cash prizes.
We now allow gallery wrapped canvas (no staples showing), wood or canvas panels, and cradled board. Wood or canvas flat panels must be framed. All paintings not protected by plexi or glass can now be varnished.
This will open new opportunities for our members who paint on canvas as well as others in the community. We are still a watermedia group, so that doesn’t change (no oils). Please share the information with your fellow artists, and we can’t wait to see what you have created. Remember to read each prospectus, as each venue may have different requirements.
