Gold Coast Watercolor Society is a community of watermedia artists dedicated to promoting the art of watermedia painting. One of the ways the society accomplishes this is through their Paint-Outs, where members meet at a designated location to paint en plein air. These events provide an opportunity for members to connect with other artists, improve their skills, and create beautiful works of art. If you are interested in attending a Paint-Out, or to get up to date locations, be sure to check the society’s Facebook page for more information.
For Tuesday paint outs be sure to contact Elizabeth Carol Keith to let her know you will be attending
For Wednesday paint outs be sure to contact Carol Thaw to let her know you will be attending
Gold Coast Watercolor Society also offers life studies sessions for its members and the community. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to practice drawing and painting the human figure, both clothed and unclothed, with in-person models. The society provides a welcoming and supportive environment for artists of all skill levels to participate and improve their abilities. Life studies sessions are a great way to develop a deeper understanding of anatomy and the human form, which can be applied to all types of artwork. If you are interested in attending a life studies session, or to get up to date locations, be sure to check the society’s Facebook page for more information.
Be sure to contact Carol Thaw to let her know you will be attending.
