Young at Art

In 2016 Gold Coast partnered with Young at Art to provide summer scholarships for deserving children.  At that time, the facility was located in Davie, FL.  Their belief is that art is a fundamental part of a child’s complete education.  In 2021, YAA relocated to Plantation, FL. to the Westfield Broward Mall located at 8000 W. Broward Blvd., Ste. 1208. In this new gallery, children are enticed and encouraged to create their own masterpieces as they journey through each of the interactive exhibits in the gallery.

Dear Gold Coast Members

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the generous support that made it possible for my daughter, to attend camp this summer.  Your kindness has had such a positive and lasting impact on our lives.

Through her time at camp, my daughter has begun to learn the value of structure in her day –something that will serve her well as she prepares to enter kindergarten.  She has also had the chance to explore and develop her artistic abilities, and she comes home each day excited to continue painting and creating.  Watching her grow in confidence and joy has been incredibly meaningful.

As a parent, it brings me great peace of mind to know that she is experiencing something new, enriching and joyful in such a supportive environment.  The staff at camp have been nothing short of amazing, and it is reassuring to know that she is surrounded by such caring and dedicated individuals.

Thank you again for your generosity.  It has truly made a difference in both of our lives.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the scholarship you provided for my daughter to attend the Young at Art Museum.

Thanks to your generosity, my daughter is able to spend time in a place that inspires her, challenges her, and fills her with confidence.  She calls YAA her “happy place,” and it truly is.  Every day she comes home with new stories, new artwork, and a big smile.

Your support is more than a gift-it’s a meaningful investment in her future, and I am truly touched.  Thank you for believing in young artists like my daughter.

“Dear Gold Coast Watercolor Society, Thank you for giving our sons, ages 6 and 8, the opportunity to attend YAA summer camp.  The boys enjoyed it and wished they could stay longer.  The staff were great and very helpful.  Overall, it was a great experience and exceeded our expectations.”

“To the Members of Gold Coast Watercolor Society

Because of your generosity our daughter was able to attend Young at Art camp on a scholarship.  She, like other children being affected by the pandemic, has not had much social interaction.  This opportunity has allowed her to explore her creativity.  Throughout the week, she has been engaged in the scheduled events, all allowing her to come home and share with her family what fun it was.

This opportunity has also allowed other important things to transpire.  Because of the pandemic, we have been out of work.  Since our daughter has been in camp, we have had time to find and secure employment.  I want to personally thank you with a heart filled with gratitude.

Again, what you have done for our daughter and her family is greatly needed and appreciated.  If I can be of service to your organization, don’t hesitate to ask.  I would be empowered to also Pay it Forward.

Continue to stay well and be GREAT,

A grateful family”
